BARCELONA GLOBAL ALUMNI CONFERENCE 2009 JUNE 2009

NYSTERN UNIVERSITY is an internationally well-known school of business. Every two years it organizes a reunion for its alumni, among which we can find international personalities from the world of business, finance and politics. In this conference, current issues are brought forward.
In 2009, Barcelona was the chosen city for their gathering. Together with a travel agency, we were in charge of the technical production and artistic assessment during the three days that the conference lasted.
The welcome event took place in Café Veranda (Hotel Arts), while the meeting was held in the Llotja , at Barcelona's Chamber of Commerce. The gala dinner was celebrated at the MNAC ( Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya ).
We organized a wine tasting activity where the assistants could taste a wide variety of DO wines in Spain, together with a selection of tapas from the emblematic catering Arola. Besides, a program of activities was designed for the accompanying persons, parallel to the conference, so that they could fully enjoy Barcelona and its surroundings.
In all the different spaces we were in charge of coordinating the technical production and the various shows with the necessary providers, always adapting to the client's needs and the general budget of the event. Els Pescadors de l'Escala , a habanera group, played during the welcome event, while the Orquestra de Guitarras de Barcelona was the finishing touch for the gala dinner.
